  • "Lie-Nielsen Toolworks" (15 min. away)

  • "The Apprentice Shop" wooden boat school (14 min. away)

  • "Liberty Tool Company" antique tools (30 min. away) 

  • Windsor Chairmakers" (9 min. away).  Their furniture and carvings showroom is a 19 room 1840 period house that rambles on and on.  Their work is really some of the finest hand craftsmanship anywhere.  This is a Maine Sate landmark must see for woodworkers and carvers.  


The Camden area boasts numerous short hikes and walks with phenomenal views, which are only enhanced in the autumn. Visitors can enjoy 30 incredible miles of hiking trails which are right outside our door. Many trails offer you spectacular views of Penobscot Bay and if you love getting on the water, Penobscot bay is a water lovers haven. Here are a few outdoor attractions:
